Nick joined Smith Young in 2014, returning to South Yorkshire some 20 years after originally graduating from Sheffield Hallam University. Over that period he held positions at Richard Ellis, DTZ and Savills in various geographical locations including the North West and South West.

He is a Director within the Lease Consultancy team and has now clocked up experience in the retail sector spanning across four decades. His work involves advising on lease terms, rental values and occupational strategy for major UK shopping centres, such as Meadowhall and Westfield London and Stratford City for clients including British Land and Unibail Rodamco Westfield.

In his spare time, Nick plays squash, enjoys the odd round of golf and usually spends Saturday mornings aiming for a PB at one of Sheffield’s numerous parkruns.
